These Are The Top 10 Crypto Analysts on YouTube

In the crazy world of cryptocurrency there’s a lot to keep up on. It’s the 24-hour, seven day a week marketplace that never sleeps and there’s so much to take in, it makes it nearly impossible to keep up.

Luckily there are many great places to go to keep up with not only the Bitcoin and crypto news of the day, but to get you your daily dose of technical analysis (T-A) on what might be coming next. But how do you know which analysts are great and the ones that are — well not so great?

I’ve spent the last few years following and unfollowing many of these so-called “experts”. And let’s face it, not all of them are great. You’ll spend way to many hours drudging through so many so-called “experts”, you’ll start to get nauseous. Some may have some good nuggets of information you’ll come across, but they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to delivery. And if it’s not delivery that’s holding them back, it’s production values.

Over the years I‘ve seen just about all of them — the good, the bad, and yes, the ugly. Yes, I’ve wasted what’s added up to hundreds of hours of time watching the worst of the worst. And during that time I’ve been able to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the best of the best in crypto T-A. So in the spirit of giving back to the community, I thought I’d save you a ton of time by sharing my observations. So without further ado, these are the top 10 Best Crypto Analysts on YouTube:

#10:

The Moon

Carl Martin (a.k.a. “The Moon”) provides a steady daily diet of Bitcoin technical analysis. His analysis tends to lean toward the glass being more half full than empty but always provides downside pitfalls and scenarios as well. He usually does a deep dive into the charts with both Bullish and Bearish scenarios, giving a complete picture of what’s happening with Bitcoin. He stays more or less on topic and doesn’t get sidetracked easily. The videos are right around the ten-minute or so range making them just the right length for busy people on the go.

#9

MMCrypto

No one can match the sheer energy of Chris (MMCrypto). Hailing from Germany, he’s famous for his show opener “Today for the Bitcoin price!”. MMCrypto isn’t afraid of the camera, and he always has his energy level turned up to 11! He’s not afraid of being both controversial and sensational but when it’s all said and done, he’s one of the top T-A YouTubers in the business. Every episode feels like a full-steam ahead locomotive that barrels out of control down the Bitcoin track. MMCrypto is at his best when he can keep his videos inside 10 minutes.

#8

Token Metrics

What’s not to like about Token Metrics host Ian and his cynical, sarcastic east-coast sidekick Bill?!? From a straight T-A perspective, you’d be hard pressed to find a couple of guys that are better. Ian, the like-able, soft-spoken main man host, and his sidekick, Bill make for a great one-two punch that the nerdiest of crypto fans adore. From a mass appeal point of view, the show can be a little “inside baseball”, and from a spit-and-polish point of view, leaves a bit to be desired. That’s probably why their follower numbers on YouTube are shockingly low. But with Token Metrics, that isn’t that the point — the content and analysis is among the best anywhere on the internet.

#7

CryptoJack

Don’t let his thumbnails fool you, Britain’s Crypto Jack is a soft-spoken bloke that offers top-shelf T-A without the fluff…and that’s ok with me. Crypto Jack has just the right mix of quality, in-depth technical analysis with even handed commentary. Crypto Jack is so steady handed, you wouldn’t know which direction Bitcoin is headed. Length-wise, his segments are just right — somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes making them one of the better shows on YouTube to get in and out of.

#6

Crypto Ride

Other than Chris M (ranked #4 in this list later in this article), Crypto Ride might be one of the best-kept secrets in high-quality technical analysis on YouTube. There’s a lot to like about Crypto Ride’s (host Anthony) show. He offers straightforward, no-nonsense T-A with just the right mix of bullish or bearish sentiment depending on the situation. Since Crypto Ride covers Bitcoin, Alts, and defi, it might not have quite the attraction for Bitcoin maximalists. But given the depth of knowledge and breadth of crypto coverage, it’s hard not to like what Crypto Ride has to offer.

#5

DaVinciJ15

DaVinciJ15 is among the best of the best when it comes to Bitcoin and crypto T-A. Super smart, he’s been in the crypto world for years and provides some of the best, in-depth analysis of anyone anywhere. His analysis tends to be longer than most — sometimes up to 60 minutes in length (or more). If you don’t have a ton of time, DaVinciJ15 may not be for you. But if you want to relax and kick back with one of the most knowledgeable people in the business, then DaVinciJ15 is your guy.

#4

Chris M

A relative newcomer to the T-A space, Chris M is one of the undiscovered gems in crypto. What great about Chris M is that he get to it — in and out — and doesn’t digress or veer off course. His analysis is tight and to the point covering the charts and all the basics. This best kept secret in crypto T-A gives you the straight scoop in a no-nonsense, straight ahead delivery style. What’s more, his format is so efficient, he covers more ground than most in much less time.

#3

Crypto Capital Venture

Dan (a.k.a. Crypto Capital Venture) has perhaps the best show format of anyone. He straddles the line between getting deep enough in the T-A with not going too deep and in the weeds. Crypto Capital Venture has a great format which predominantly focuses on Bitcoin but occasionally turns his attention to Ethereum, Cardano, and occasionally, Litecoin. But Bitcoin is his primary coverage focus and he’s among the best when it comes to just the right mix of T-A, general market knowledge, solid delivery, and excellent production values.

#2:

Alessio Rastani

The only reason Alessio Rastani didn’t top our list of the top T-A people on YouTube is because he covers much more than just crypto. But make no mistake, Alessio Rastani is someone you must have in your YouTube subscription list. Offering just the right mix of technical analysis, perspective, market knowledge, and grounded opinion, Alessio Rastani is the gold (or should I say, Bitcoin) standard when it comes to top shelf technical analysis.

#1:

Data Dash — Nicholas Merton

Nicholas Merton (a.k.a. Data Dash) is the YouTube equivalent of a Bitcoin whale. His channel has, by far, the biggest following in Bitcoin and crypto and for good reason. His steady, even-handed approach, combined with excellent technical analysis gives viewers maximum confidence in the content he delivers.

He goes into just enough detail in each episode to keep people interested and engaged but not lose them too easily. With technical analysis that is truly the cream of the crypto crop, Data Dash is the standard all others are measured by.
